In line with the Mater Deian philosophy of education, vision and mission, the Home Room-Guidance program aims to assist each student to become a person who recognizes and appreciates his/her God-given unique potentials (talino) and is willing to persevere (tiyaga) to develop and share it for the common good. As a learning community, mentored by their adviser, the students are taught to be deeply grateful to God and imbued with a desire to learn to love Him with all their heart, mind, strength and soul and to love others as God loves them (Pusong dakila).

Computer 6
In Computer 6, the learners will utilize the different tools in creating a slideshow presentation that can be used for online marketing. They will about creating video presentations. they will also learn how to edit videos and how to publish movies online. They also introduce in online journalism and teach them how to write a personal blog. The different methods and techniques in data gathering, also, they will be able to create and process online survey data. And lastly, the learners will rediscover Microsoft Excel and its uses in analyzing gathered data.
Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan 6
Ang Tagumpay, Bunga ng Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan 6 ay isang napapanahong aklat tungo sa pagpapatatag at pagpapaunlad ng bawat mag-aaral, mag-anak, at ng pamayanan. Ang aklat na ito ay kasama sa Serye ng Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP). Wikang Filipino ang ginamit na midyum sa ikaapat hanggng ikaanim na baitang. Ang mga layunin, kaisipan, kasanayan, at pagpapahalagang nililinang sa aklat na ito ay batay sa K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum Guide na inihanda ng Department of Education (DepEd).
Pangkalahatang layunin ng aklat na ito ang mga sumusunod:
-Paghubog sa mag-aaral upang lumaking may tiwala sa sarili, matulungin sa kapuwa, at matagumpay -Pagpapatibay ng kaalamang pantahanan at pangkabuhayan sa tulong ng Information and Communications -Technology
-Pagkikilala at pagsasabuhay ng responsableng pangangalaga ng yamang tao at yamang kalikasan.
Napapangkat sa apat na yunit ang aklat na ito.
Yunit I – Entrepreneurship at ang Information and Communications Technology
Yunit II – Pangangalaga sa Sarili at ang Mabuting Pananahanan
Yunit III – Kaalaman at Gawaing Pangkabuhayan sa Agrikultura
Yunit IV – Sining Pang-Industriya Ang bawat yunit ay nahahati sa mga aralin na naglalahad ng mga layunin at binubuo ng mga sumusunod na bahagi.
Tuklasin – pagpukaw sa kasalukuyang kaalaman ng mag-aaral sa aralin
Alamin – paglinang sa mga makabuluhang kaalaman at kasanayan Palawakin ang Talasalitaan – pagpapayaman ng talasalitaan
Gawin – pagtataya sa mga natutuhan sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang pagsasanay
Gamitin ang Natutuhan – pagsasagawa, pagpapatibay, at pagsasabuhay ng mga natutuhang kaalaman at kasanayan
Tandaan – pagpapaalala sa mga mahahalagang konsepto
Ang bawat yunit na may magkakaugnay na kaisipan, kaalaman, at kasanayan ay maaaring linangin sa kaayusang angkop sa makabuluhan at praktikal na pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral at pamayanan. Nawa ay maging gabay ang aklat na ito tungo sa makahulugan at matagumpay na pagkatuto at pag-angat.

Sa pagtatapos ng ika-anim baitang, maipamamalas ng mag-aaral ang patuloy na pag-unawa at pagpapahalaga sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas mula sa ika-20 siglo hanggang sa kasalukuyan, tungo sa pagbuo ng tiyak na pagkakakilanlan bilang Pilipino at mamamayan ng Pilipinas Naipamamalas ang malalim na pag-unawa sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas base sa pagsusuri ng sipi ng mga piling primaryang sangguniang nakasulat, pasalita, awdyo-biswal at kumbinasyon ng mga ito, mula sa iba-ibang panahon, tungo sa pagbuo ng makabansang kaisipan na siyang magsisilbing basehan ng mas malawak na pananaw tungkol sa mundo.

Music, Art, Physical Education, and Health provides you the opportunity to develop and express your creativity in many different ways like singing, playing musical instruments, creating movements in response to rhythm and music, creating original and uninhibited artworks, learning and appreciating Filipino heritage, playing games, or engaging in fun physical activities, performing ethnic and creative dances and making healthier choices to enhance your overall well-being.
The development of the lessons in series is in accordance with the frameworks of the K to 12 of Education. The approach is child-centered. Each component is divided into four quarters which contain the prescribed lessons determined by the learning competencies.
It is our hope that MAPEH 6 will inspire you to develop positive values, attitudes, and skills to be responsible, productive, and creative young 21st-century Filipino learners.

This course will help the you listen critically; communicate feelings and ideas orally and in writing with a high level of proficiency; and reads various text types materials to serve learning needs in meeting a wide range of life’s purposes.
As a 21st century learner, your needs, interests, and aspirations hopefully are addressed through the lessons. Each lesson unfolds with an imperative discussion that pushes you into thinking and action, and the learning objectives based on content and performance standards along the Integrated Language Arts domains and the five (5) sub-stands; namely, listening, speaking, reading, writing, and viewing.

Science 6
At the end of Grade 6, learners recognize that when mixed together, materials may not form new ones thus these materials may be recovered using different separation techniques. They can prepare useful mixtures such as food, drinks and herbal medicines.
Learners understand how the different organ systems of the human body work together. They can classify plants based on reproductive structures, and animals based on the presence or lack of backbone. They can design and conduct an investigation on plant propagation. They can describe larger ecosystems such as rainforests, coral reefs, and mangrove swamps.
Learners can infer that friction and gravity affect how people and objects move. They have found out that heat, light, sound, electricity, and motion studied earlier are forms of energy and these undergo transformation.
Learners can describe what happens during earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and demonstrate what to do when they occur. They can infer that the weather follows a pattern in the course of a year. They have learned about the solar system, with emphasis on the motions of the Earth as prerequisite to the study of seasons in another grade level.
